Here is what I had for a light breakfast:
Recipe:
3 tbls vanilla greek yogurt [ you could make this vegan by putting in the same quantity of soy milk soaked chia seeds]
1 tbls oats
1/2 cup soy milk
1/2 cup frozen blueberries [ or your frozen berry of choice- I love blueberries because they are low cal but packed with antioxidants]
Blend and voila!
Also I have been loving goat cheese[ you just have to make sure it is pasteurized when you are preggers], so here is my deluxe grilled cheese. Made with tomatoes, cheddar, goat cheese and basil leaves [ from my basil plant!]
And here is my baby belly update!
How far along? 13.5 weeks
Total weight gain/measurements: 5 lbs
Maternity clothes: maternity leggings from Thyme maternity, top from an outlet in Toronto
Stretch marks? none- currently using coconut oil [ yet another awesome use for coconut oil!] and Bio Oil [ I wouldn’t of purchased the Bio Oil but my girlfriend gave me the rest of her bottle].
Sleep: Good but lately I need 12+ hours to feel good.
Best moment this week: Telling my boss and coworkers about baby Bear!
Miss anything? Brie cheese!!
Movement: I can’t feel any but I can see some.
Food cravings: Goat cheese and eggs benny
Anything making you queasy or sick? Seafood and the smell of ketchup or cleaning materials
Gender: not yet! I think its a girl.
Labour signs: No
Symptoms: Growing belly, all the moms at work knew I was pregnant way before I announced it.
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time? Moody!
Looking forward to: Vacation starting on the 22nd, getting energy back, next obgyn appointment on the 2nd of April.
